Cleveland power-pop outfit Cloud Nothings have unveiled the second single from their upcoming LP, Attack on Memory. Following the slightly experimental “No Future/No Past”, the band now delivers its next anthem in “Stay Useless”. Striking at the sound of Superchunk, the infectiously catchy tune is comprised of jangly guitars, emotionally unstable vocals, and, most importantly, a super-sized blast of high-energy fun. “‘Stay Useless’ was my attempt at making a catchy pop song that was better than any other pop song I’ve written,” frontman Dylan Baldi told Rolling Stone. “I’m trying to take Cloud Nothings to different areas, songwriting-wise, so I figured I should try and finish off the ‘poppy’ songs with a bang.”

The band will be touring in support of the LP beginning this February, with the full schedule below the album tracklist. Attack on Memory hits stores on January 24th, 2012 via Carpark Records.
