Leslie Feist and Beck last worked together in late 2009 as part of the latter’s Record Club, remaking former Moby Grape/Jefferson Airplane rocker Skip Spence’s 1969 album Oar. Now, the pair have tangentially collaborated once more with a Beck-provided remix of Feist’s song “How Come You Never Go There”, from her latest LP Metals. Beck has taken the low-key, sultry number and turned into an outright declaration of funk-tacular glory. Check out the remix below (via P4k), followed by the video for the original version.
Metals is out now via Cherrytree. Order your copy on CD or digitally.
