
As previously reported, Blonde Redhead’s Kazu Makino has put together a compilation album to benefit Japan in its ongoing recovery following last March’s tsunami. Titled We are the Works in Progress, the collection includes exclusive recordings from Four Tet, Liars, Deerhunter, John Maus, and Nosaj Thing as well as rarities and remixes from Interpol, Broadcast, Terry Riley, and Blonde Redhead. Below, you can hear Four Tet’s contribution, a new track entitled “Moma”.
We are the Works in Progress is out January 10th via Blonde Redhead’s own imprint Asa Wa Kuru. Proceeds will benefit the Japan Society Earthquake Relief Fund and Architecture for Humanity. Click here to pre-order the album on vinyl.
