UK electro pop duo Goldfrapp will soon release a career-spanning singles collection. According to their Twitter, the collection, aptly titled The Singles, is out February 6th (presumably in the UK). Update: A U.S. release is set for February 7th via Astralwerks. As is the case with any “greatest hits” medley, the band’s offered up two new tracks to be a part of the release: “Melancholy Sky” and “Yellow Halo”. Below, we have a clip featuring the latter track. It’s really your standard Goldfrapp flair: pillowy atmosphere (check), repetitive melody (check), and sublime vocals from Alison Goldfrapp (check). It’s a solid inclusion, though.
