While Lou Reed is still trying to explain Lulu, Metallica has spend the last week reminding folks what they can really do. Three unreleased tracks from the Death Magnetic sessions have hit the web so far, and now Blabbermouth reports (via Rock it Out! Blog) that a fourth, “Rebel Of Babylon”, was sent out to members of ‘Tallica’s official fan club on Sunday. Though any trace has quickly been removed from YouTube, you can check out the band performing the song live during their 30th Anniversary residency at San Francisco’s Fillmore on Saturday below.
The studio version may be unavailable for public consumption, but there’s a behind the scenes video featuring the making of “Rebel of Babylon” for your viewing pleasure, also below.
Also during said concert on Saturday night, the band’s original lineup - James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Dave Mustaine and Ron McGovney – took the stage together for the first time since 1982. Below, you can watch video of them performing “Hit The Lights”.
