Despite the “split heard ’round the world”, R.E.M. continues to pop up in the feeds. This time for an early taping of the band covering ABBA’s “Does Your Mother Know?”, which recently hit YouTube. Dating back to 1984, the intimate recording begins with a request for two volunteers and ends with a “nice round of applause for our dancers of the day, Sean and Mary!” Check out the track below.
