Perhaps to churn some hype for their forthcoming sophomore LP, Young and Old, Tennis has issued a cover of Broadcast’s fantastic track, “Tears in the Typing Pool”. Vocalist Alaina Moore and husband Patrick Riley hardly stray from the source material, but that’s okay. It’s a solid update – even if it’s only been six years since it surfaced on Broadcast’s 2005 LP, Tender Buttons – and all the extraterrestrial instrumentation is intact. No doubt fans will enjoy this one at the duo’s ensuing shows. Check it out below.
