Check Out: Anthony Green feat. Ida Maria Cant Be Satisfied (CoS Premiere)

Anthony Green is not one easily contented with his artistic output. Though he’s had his most prominent success as frontman of Circa Survive, the Pennsylvania native has had no less than three well-received projects, not including his solo work and numerous guest appearances. Green is set to release his sophomore solo effort, Beautiful Things, on January 17th, and a bonus cut from the album makes no qualms about his lack of complacency.

Aptly titled “Can’t Be Satisfied”, the track is a darkly drawn, country-tinged number, complete with chugging guitar strumming. Green’s distinct, scratchy falsetto belts out discontented lyrics like “if I sound pessimistic, fuck you / that’s just how I feel” (told you there were no qualms), outlining the tormented shadows of the music. He gets some support from guest vocalist/Norweigan rocker Ida Maria, who at times sounds shockingly like a female Green. You can hear the track, which as a bonus track bodes quite well for the record, below.

Beautiful Things is out on January 17th from Photo Finish, with preorders currently ongoing. The complete tracklist is under the song, followed by Green’s upcoming tour dates, which include stops with Coachella act-to-know The Dear Hunter.

Although I hate the periods of my life where I stop hearing his voice, this is fantastic lol
