Recent All Due Respect recipients Friends stopped by BBC Radio 1′s Maida Vale studios earlier today, where they debuted a new brand new track entitled “A Thing Like This”. With a bubbly synth line, a solid groove, and some pretty rhythmic drumming, the Brooklyn troupe has once again combined funk, dance, and pop into an alluring blend. A replay of the session is available below and also includes a performance of their hit single “I’m His Girl” (via Disco Naïveté).

During the interview portion, the band revealed plans to release their debut full-length sometime this spring. As always, stay tuned for more as it’s announced.
