With their debut LP The Slideshow Effect scheduled for February, Toronto dream-pop duo Memoryhouse are gearing up for a big 2012. Thus, their newly revealed cover of The Zombies’ “This Will Be Our Year” seems like an appropriate choice, even if they recorded it with a different motive in mind. Says vocalist Denise Nouvion: ”I hope this song helps motivate you to lose 5 pounds, stop smoking, and watch less Storage Wars (or is that just me?)”
