2011 started rough for Atlanta rap kingpin T.I. After spending the first nine months of the year in jail, Tip emerged from the slammer triumphantly – only to be sent right back. Finally released in September, T.I. is now amidst a musical resurgence, working alongside Big K.R.I.T. and Young Jeezy, issuing a remix of The Throne, and even writing a hot solo joint or two. Early next year, he’ll cap off his return with his eighth studio album, Trouble Man. Until then, however, he’s testing the musical waters and starting 2012 on a decidedly more positive note with his latest mixtape, Fuck Da City Up.
