Teen Daze announces debut album: All Of Us, Together

On May 22nd, Vancouver producer/digital-do-it-yourselfer Teen Daze will release his debut album, All Of Us, Together, via Lefse Records. The follow-up to his latest EP, A Silent Planet, the album was inspired when Teen Daze (who has only ever revealed his first name, Jamison) found a book entitled Utopian Visions in a thrift store, sparkin  thoughts of what the future might actually hold. “We’re becoming more and more self-reliant, more and more separated from our communities,” he told FADER recently. “I wanted to make a record that sounded more synthetic but also inviting—this is futuristic music with a heart.”

For an introduction to the concept, Teen Daze has made available the album track “Brooklyn Sunburn”. The track’s intro replicates a sunny day in the city, with lush vocals and silky synths. After a few moments, the whole affair shifts into slightly glitchier territory. We don’t know if the cut’s got a heart or not, but it sure is kickin’. Stream it below.
