Two-time Academy Award nominated actress Samantha Morton (In America, Sweet and Lowdown) makes her musical video directorial debut in The Kills’ clip for “The Last Goodbye”, the latest single off last year’s LP Blood Pressures. Billed as a celebration of the Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince’s 10-year musical partnership, the clip sees the duo posing together inside a photo booth. Shot in monochrome on crisp, silvery 35mm, check out the final product below (via Nowness.com).

As TwentyFourBit reports and the band’s publicist confirms, “The Last Goodbye” will be released in a four-track package on February 14th via Domino Records. Backing the single are a trio of previously revealed covers: The Velvet Underground’s “Pale Blue Eyes”, Patsy Cline’s “Crazy”, and Marilyn Monroe’s “One Silver Dollar”. The release will be available in standard formats, in addition to a limited edition 10″ vinyl, which is available for pre-order right now.
