As reported, Portland folkers Horse Feathers cranked up their membership to 11 for the upcoming LP Cynic’s New Year. However, the band still maintains its minimalist edge on the new track “Fit Against the Country”. Lead in part by a particularly alluring banjo part, the track is a quiet confessional that aches with regret, with subtle hints of something more grandiose and explosive to come.
