Jack Black and Kyle Gass have returned to Tenacious D. As previously reported, the comedic duo plan to release its third LP late last year. Now, as their Facebook indicates, the long-awaited follow up to 2006′s The Pick of Destiny will surface in May. Below, we have our first listen of the album with the aptly titled (and misspelled), “Rize of the Fenix”.

So far, the band is slated to appear at two festivals this summer: Germany’s Rock am Ring & Rock im Park and England’s Download Festival. Stay tuned for more dates and album information as this story develops.
