Jimmy Fallon hosts Bruce Springsteen tribute week
In anticipation of Bruce Springsteen’s new LP, Wrecking Ball, noted fanboy Jimmy Fallon will dedicate much of next week’s show to the music legend with a series of performances and tributes.
According to a press release, Springsteen and the E Street Band will open the week on Monday with two performances. They’ll then return Friday for another batch of performances, as well as an interview with Fallon. (Side note: Friday also marks the third anniversary of Fallon’s show, which is kind of mind blowing.)
In between, country star Kenny Chesney will appear on Tuesday night to cover “Born in the U.S.A.” Then, on Thursday, Elvis Costello will team up with The Roots for a rendition of “Brilliant Disguise”.
