I have gone the past 6 years and will be there my 7th time this June. I’m pumped because Bonnaroo is more than a lineup, it’s a whole atmosphere. However, I do agree this lineup is the weakest I’ve seen but the price of admission for the headliners alone is equal to the $ value of what you’re going to experience. I wish they had some more late night acts, they have just enough to make it good but they normally have horrible overlaps and this year they can’t afford that.

Really ?!? It’s COS man, relax

you are soooooooo right. he made a horrible mistake. thank you so much for pointing that out. now the whole world can rest easy because “LearnHowToSpell” (but not how to use a space bar, or form a fully functional sentence) has saved us from casual/lazy non-proofread comment sections on music sites everywhere. way to contribute to the topic at hand.

Beach Boys will not make it to Bonnaroo. We all know about the “Brian Wilson” factor, and if you think they are magically going to sound better on a massive outdoor stage in the middle of June than they did at the highly controlled environment of the Grammy’s your wrong. If Wilson backs out cause of his perfectionist tendencies, then the whole thing is off….nobody would care about this without him, and nobody will care about “John Stamos and the Beach Boys” should he decide they don’t sound the way he thinks they should. Hope I am wrong, but would not be surprised….Allman Bros. could replace, making up for there cancellation a couple of years back.

A question to those who feel this is a weak lineup. Who would have made it better?what are you looking for that is not included here?

This is going to be a lot of fun, but this is by far the worst lineup I have ever seen.

Wow this lineup is so much weaker than I expected. Definitely no wow factor. Coachella by far has a superior lineup. The bottom of this lineup alone isn’t enough to get me to fork out the dough to get down there and deal with the long lines, heat, etc. Sasquatch is decent this year but not great. Damn I really wanted to avoid Lolla this year but I may not have a choice.

after 11 years it’s kind of hard to “wow” people unless they go insane with their budget.  Ignore the first four lines of this lineup and look at the bottom. Our festivals are turning into Europe where many bands hit the same fests. Obviously RHCP (who promised they weren’t doing any festivals) along with Radiohead look like our festival whores for the year.  But honestly, who cares.  You’re seeing RHCP and Radiohead.

They really have some solid underground and up and coming artists.  Dawes, Gary Clark Jr, Two Door Cinema, Tune-Yards, St. Vincent, SBTRKT, The Antlers, The Joy Formidable, Tuneyards, Young the Giant, The Lonely Forest, The Black Lips, Alabama Shakes, Battles, Kooks, Das Racist, the war on drugs…. hell i could keep going but I have to get back to work.  The middle and bottom of this lineup is fantastic.  I would be beyond happy if half of these bands come to South Florida……Trust me, Langerado would have sold out if this was the bottom of the lineup.

Overall nothing spectacular here. The Beach Boys are a good get, but the rest of it is predictable and for the most part we’ve seen most of it before. The first inclination, as with Coachella, was not a wow at all.

That’s what I’m hoping for. He tends to play every second year at least. he’s a bonnaroo vet. plus with his new solo album, and the fact that he’s a Tennessee native…

Does anyone else think that the omission of Jack White from this list and the TBD superjam are connected.
