If you were bold enough to sit through Dr. Phil last night on Conan, then you probably caught a soothing performance by Alabama Shakes. The Southern troupe, who’s been turning heads everywhere (including Jack White’s), grooved to a country-fried rendition of their current single “Hold On”. It was so good that the ginger late-night host screamed out an exasperated “Wow!” as he approached the stage towards the end.
