As promised, Blur took the stage at the 2012 Brit Awards earlier this evening, marking their first performance together in three years. Their lengthy set included classics like “Girls & Boys”, “Song 2″, “Parklife”, “Tender”, and “This Is A Low”. In addition, the band was honored with an Outstanding Contribution to Music award. Watch the video replay below.

The performance comes amidst an already busy news week for Blur. On Sunday, Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon performed a brand new song, “Under the West Way”, during a charity concert, and yesterday the band was confirmed to headline the 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony Celebration Concert at London’s Hyde Park on August 12th.

And here’s the host cutting off Adele’s Album of the Year acceptance speech so Blur could squeeze another performance in…

looooove Blur! so many memories! i hope they make more music!
