There’s not a lot of music videos that display Toronto’s seedy underbelly (unless you count Drake’s clip for “Headlines”, which had far too many grown men in sweaters and gloves to be truly gritty). For a look at the real urban side of Toronto, local hero/MC K’Naan takes collaborator Nas on a tour of the city in the music video for “Nothing To Lose”. The duo begin the night with drinks, where the Illmatic One spits some sagely wisdom. From there, it’s on to car rides through various neighborhoods and meetings with K’Naan’s old running buddies for some thuggish posturing. Hogtown has never looked more gangsta then now thanks to these friendly, knowledgeable rappers and assorted hoodlums. Watch the video below.
