A music video is a window into a band’s world, usually a belief or opinion they hold or maybe a look into their life on the road or on stage. All those pale in comparison to the depth at which Brooklyn electro-pop duo Tanlines offer viewers in the music video for “Brothers”.
Shot with specialized camera technology, the video is vieweable in full 360-degree vision, giving the audience the power to spin around the room and check out every aspect of the band’s cozy performance (like a house guest glued to the floor). No matter how you interact, be sure to spend some time watching the TV, where percussion/keyboardist Jesse Cohen performs an actual stand-up routine. That, or you can try and look outside the window or see what’s in their grocery bags the whole time. The choice, dear viewer, is all yours; check it out below (via Pitchfork).
Tanlines’ new LP Mixed Emotions is out March 20th via True Panther Sounds. Below, you’ll find the band’s upcoming spring tour schedule.
