Unknown Mortal Orchestra returns with a new video for “Strangers are Strange”. Director Sam Kristofski helms the clip, which takes on a very Wes Anderson-like aesthetic. Quirky, off-beat white guys with beards, throwback cinematography, track jackets, yellow-colored subtitles, and plenty of close-up shots – yeah, that’s Mr. Anderson alright. While not the most original video to surface in recent memory, it does fit UMO’s vintage aesthetic. Check it out below.
