During the weekend of March 17-18th, The Creators Project will transform San Francisco’s Fort Mason into the site of its latest music and art festival. On the music side, the festival will feature the return of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy, and Squarepusher, who will take the stage for only his second U.S. performance in the last seven years. Additional acts include The Antlers, HEALTH, Zola Jesus, Shabazz Palaces, New Pants with Feng Menbgo’s Bruce Lee VJ Project, The Hundred in the Hands, and Teen Daze.
The festival will also feature a number of global artworks and installations, including the 40-foot by 40-foot audiovisual cubic sculpture ”Origin”, which originated at Coachella; Chris Milk’s new interactive installation “Our 3 Stages of Flight”; and Barney Clay and Mick Rock’s reinvention of David Bowie performing “Life On Mars”.
Admission to the event is free, however, an RSVP is required.
