Conor Oberst’s early 2000s punk band, Desaparecidos, will reunite in August at their hometown Maha Music Festival in Omaha, Nebraska. It will mark their first performance since a one-off benefit gig at Omaha’s Concert For Equality in July 2010. Prior to that, it had been eight years since the band played together.
Taking place August 11th at Aksarben Village, the festival will also feature reunited alt-rock band Garbage, singer-songwriter Josh Rouse, and Omaha indie band Icky Blossoms, who are signed to Oberst’s Saddle Creek Records imprint. Additional acts will be revealed on May 6th.
GA and VIP passes are now available via the festival’s website.
