Kanye West has nabbed another big name for his G.O.O.D. Music label. As Rap Radar points out, A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip has reached a deal with Def Jam and West’s imprint, which will release his fourth solo LP, tentatively titled The Last Zulu, in 2013.
“I’m excited to be a part of the great iconic Def Jam label,” said Q-Tip in an issued statement. “I’m humbled to be a part of such a storied history… As far as G.O.O.D. Music, I’m excited to solidify my working relationship with Kanye, and I look forward to all the opportunities that lie ahead in our partnership. I will do my best to present the most cutting edge music I can.”
Q-Tip now joins Pusha T, Kid Cudi, John Legend, and Big Sean on G.O.O.D. Music.
