The music world may currently be focused on Coachella, but that didn’t stop Sasquatch! from unveiling its 2012 schedule this evening. So how’s it look? Friday is pretty light in terms of conflicts, though Explosions in the Sky’s set does overlap with both Girl Talk and Beats Antique. Saturday, on the other hand, is loaded with tough decisions: aarabMUZIK or Childish Gambino or Unknown Mortal Orchestra? Purity Ring or Metric? Alabama Shakes or THEESatisfaction? Hey, at least you can close your day by seeing tUnE-yArds into The Shins into St. Vincent into Jack White. Sunday is also pretty brutal: Beirut vs. The Walkmen vs. Zola Jesus is a difficult decision, but not as tough as Bon Iver vs. James Murphy. Ouch. On the festival’s final day, Tenacious D goes against Ted Leo, Feist plays opposite Shabazz Palaces, Spiritualized overlaps with SBTRKT, and Mogwai bleeds into Beck. You can the full schedule at Sasquatch!’s website. Once again, good luck.
Sasquatch! takes place May 25-28th in George, Washington. Tickets are officially sold out, but you may want to stay tuned because we have a pair of three-day passes lying around.
