For Record Store Day, Animal Collective released Tranverse Temporary Gyrus, a 12″ compiling material from their March 2010 performance at New York City’s Guggenheim Museum. As the band’s label, Domino Records, points out, the entire effort is also available to stream online, which you can do so below.
Update: AnCo has launched a new website, where users can experience the music as well as the accompanying installation created by artist Danny Perez. The website offers a free download of program that will “perform the audio in a new and unique way each time you run it.” In addition, users go into “Danny’s mind by exploring the images and videos that he created.”
