Yesterday, we heard Antony Hegarty’s vocals on the new CoCoRosie single, and today there’s a new track from Antony And The Johnsons. As Listen Before You Buy points out, the band contributed “Rise” to the film Coral Rekindling Venus. You can stream the track below, or download the mp3 in exchange for a donation to the Australian Research Council Centre for Excellence for Coral Reef Studies.

A synopsis for the film says it’s “an extraordinary journey into a mysterious realm of fluorescent coral reefs, bioluminescent sea creatures and rare marine life, revealing a complex community living in the oceans most threatened by climate change.” The trailer is posted below, and you can find additional information at the film’s website.
