With Bonnaroo now behind us, Lollapalooza is the next major event of the summer festival season, and now you can begin planning thanks to today’s unveiling of the daily set times and official aftershows.

The girth of Lollapalooza’s lineups usually means a number of scheduling conflicts, and this year is no exception. Among those you’ll have to choose between: The Black Keys, Black Sabbath, and Bassnectar; Red Hot Chili Peppers and Frank Ocean; Jack White, Childish Gambino, and Justice; At the Drive-In and Florence and the Machine; Passion Pit and The Shins; Franz Ferdinand and The Weeknd; The Tallest Man on Earth and tUnE-yArDs; Bloc Party and Twin Shadow; and The Walkmen and Little Dragon. Check out the full schedule below, or at Lollapalooza’s website.

Fortunately, some of the names listed above will also be performing aftershows, including Passion Pit, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, The Walkmen, and Twin Shadow. Other notable bills include The Afghan Whigs, Alabama Shakes, Delta Spirit, Dr. Dog, and The War on Drugs. Check out the full docket and each show’s respective ticket info at D0312.

lolla sucks. what’s the point of a stacked line-up if everyone actually worth the ticket price plays at the same time.

maybe you should go to real fest?  why would i get into more bands? that would just mean more conflicts.  drrrrrrp. seriously though, all the bands that are conflict-free cost like 15 bucks to get into at their own show.  all the bands that cost a crap-ton of money and make people say “wow! what a value! i get to see all these awesome artist for one reasonable price!” are playing at the same time.  fest are about experiencing new things and if the fests i go to had insane schedules like this i would have never gotten to experience artist like the black keys or bassnectar.

Maybe you should stop complaining about your personal dilemmas regarding this festival. If you don’t agree with the way they set everything up, then don’t go. It’s that simple. There’s no need for useless, nonsensical bickering. If you really have THAT terrible of a time at these festivals, then there is definitely something off track in your brain.

So glad they posted the schedule & aftershows together! Rumor was that the aftershows were this week & the schedule was supposed to be next week, after the aftershows went on sale (and likely sold out).
