New Music: Phèdre – “HABERDASH”

By Chris Coplan on June 18th, 2012 in New Music, News

During North by Northeast this past weekend, the Toronto club Unlovable was shut down by police for violating capacity ordinances. To help get its doors back open, local label Daps Records has released a new song by electro-pop outfit Phèdre entitled “HABERDASH”, with 100% of the proceeds going to the venue’s legal bills. Featuring a gritty, AM radio-ready production value, this New Wave/dancehall combo is tailor-made for strutting the night away in tiny institutions just like Unlovable. Stream it below or head to Daps’ Bandcamp page to purchase the song for $1.
