At last night’s Revelation Records 25th anniversary show at the Glass House in Pomona, CA, post-hardcore outfit Quicksand reunited for the first time since the early 2000s. Below, you can watch fan footage of “Omission” and an ultra-heavy version of The Smiths’ “How Soon Is Now?”.

Quicksand is the initial side project of Gorilla Biscuits’ Walter Schreifels, who formed the band between the break-up of Biscuits and prior to forming Rival Schools. Alongside acts like L7 and Sublime, Quicksand headlined the first Warped Tour in 1995. The band initially broke up following the tour, only to reunite in 1997 for a short run ending in 1999. As of now, last night’s reunion show is considered a one-off, but we’ll keep you updated.
