Video: Nas on The Colbert Report

Last night, Nas continued his late night run with an appearance on The Colbert Report. Right off the bat, Colbert reminded the 38-year-old rapper of his original appearance on the show five years ago.”The day you arrived on my show, your album went to number one,” Colbert said. “This new album, Life is Good, I want this album to go to number zero.”

Outside of yucks, Nas digressed on the meaning behind the album’s title (“It’s just about life and to be happy to wake up every morning,” he contended.), his decade-spanning legacy, and his retirement plan (or lack thereof).
