Sonic Youth’s Lee Ranaldo and Dinosaur Jr.’s J. Mascis teamed up to cover the Peter Green-written instrumental “Albatross” for the upcoming Fleetwood Mac tribute Just Tell Me That You Want Me. You can now stream it below (via slicing up eyeballs).

Just Tell Me That You Want Me will be released on August 14th via Hear Music/Concord. Of the 17 tracks included, we’ve also heard “FutureGames” by MGMT, “Silver Springs” by Lykke Li, “Landslide” by Antony, “Rhiannon” by Best Coast, “Think About Me” by The New Pornographers, and “Gold Dust Woman” by Karen Elson.
