As previously reported, Menomena returns with its fifth studio album, Moms, on September 18th via Barsuk. Today, the band shares a first listen off the album with ”Heavy Is as Heavy Does”. Over a sea of aural wreckage, the three members croon, “I don’t care much for wishful thinking it’s heavy as I breathe,” offering a somber if not emancipatory reaction to the clattering madness.
