This week, NPR’s First Listen series is streaming new albums from a pair of electro-pop outfits, Passion Pit and Purity Ring.

– Passion Pit will release their sophomore LP, Gossamer, on July 24th via Columbia Records. The 12-track was produced by Chris Zane (who also helmed Manners) and features contributions from composer Nico Muhly and a Swedish a cappella trio. You can stream it here.

– Fresh off their performance at our Forecastle Festival pre-party, Purity Ring are streaming their debut LP, Shrines, ahead of its July 24th release via 4AD. Listen to the 11-track effort here.
