As promised, Tom Waits appeared on last night’s episode of Late Show with David Letterman, where he performed material from last year’s Bad As Me for the first time. Backed by a full band, including his son Casey on drums and Los Lobos’ David Hidalgo on guitar, Waits offered an extended version of the album opener, “Chicago”. Prior to the performance, the eccentric songwriter also sat down for a brief interview, discussing 19th century rat traps. Watch the replay below (via The Audio Perv).
