Because it’s not like he’s 11 years late with a new album, Dr. Dre has added television executive producer to his increasingly long resume of non-music ventures. According to the Hollywood Reporter, FX has signed a developmental deal with Dre’s company Crucial Films to executive produce a new one-hour drama that explores both the music and crime business in present day Los Angeles. Writer Sidney Quashi will serve as the show’s creator.
