As previously reported, Scottish folk rockers Frightened Rabbit will release a new EP on September 25th, ahead of a new full-length for Atlantic in 2013. Titled State Hospital, the EP finds singer Scott Hutchison sharing songwriting duties with the rest of the band for the first time.
Last night, the band offered a preview of that process by premiering the EP’s title track on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show (via The 405). While the acoustic rendition has been floating online for a week now, the full band take is a far more impacting slice. Stream it below.
In support of the EP, Frightened Rabbit will hit clubs across Europe and North America in the fall, including stops in New York, Chicago, Seattle, and San Diego, CA. Consult the full itinerary below.
