Video: Azealia Banks – “Van Vogue”

The dexterous Harlem rapper Azealia Banks re-upped with director Rankin in the making of the video for ”Van Vogue”, a cut off Banks’ recent 1991 EP.  The two also worked together on her pervious video for “Liquorice”, though they’ve scaled back the production efforts this time around. Rankin seems to be diggin the vibes of both Aalyiah’s “Are You That Somebody” video and Beyonce’s “Countdown” video. See for yourself below.

Also over the weekend, Banks dropped a new track with AraabMUZIK on production, “Succubi.” It’s apparently a diss track aimed at vet rapper Jim Jones, and you can read about the whole thing if you want over at MTV.
