If you’re like me and trolled the P2P networks in the pre-Lars Ulrich Napster days looking for live Metallica bootlegs from their ’80s club days because you couldn’t figure out how to transfer Cliff ‘Em All  from VHS to your PC, then get amped. Metallica posted the above photo of former bassist Cliff Burton on their Facebook page  last night with the caption “We miss you”, followed shortly by another post saying, “While you’re remembering Cliff on the 26th anniversary of his passing, give a listen to this free download from the Ride the Lightning tour.” (via SPIN)
