Neil Young and Crazy Horse have let loose the first track from their new album, Psychedelic Pill. ”Walk Like a Giant” is one of three album tracks clocking in at over 16 minutes, though they’ve shortened it down to four minutes for the radio. That version is the one streaming below, accompanied by a video featuring found footage of Bigfoot, Albert Einstein and the Atomic bomb (via RollingStone.com)
Update: You can stream the full 16-minute version at NPR.org.
Psychedelic Pill, the band’s second album of 2012, is out October 30th on double CD and November 23rd on triple vinyl. A Blue-ray compiling music videos for each track will also be available on the 23rd. Since we last spoke, the album’s artwork has been updated (the new version is posted up top).
In even more news, Young will appear on the Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday (Sept. 27th) to promote his new memoir, Waging Heavy Piece, as Hidden Track reports. So set your DVR.
