Stream: Jonny Greenwood – The Master soundtrack

Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has reunited with director Paul Thomas Anderson to score his latest film The Master. (Greenwood previously penned the score to Anderson’s Oscar-winning film There Will Be Blood.) Greenwood’s soundtrack features 11 original compositions (six of which were performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra), along with recordings from the movie’s era by Ella Fitzgerald, Jo Stafford, and more. It’s out this week from Nonesuch Records, and you stream it below via Spotify.
Following last April’s split LP with noise experimentalist Henry Barnes, Brooklyn lo-fi folk rockers Woods will return on September 18th with their second release of 2012. Bend Beyond will serve as the proper follow-up to 2011′s Sun and Shade, and will be released through frontman Jeremy Earl’s Woodsist Records. You can stream it now at SPIN.
