The Rolling Stones to release two new songs
The Rolling Stones will release their first new studio recordings in seven years as part of a new career-spanning compilation titled GRRR!. The two songs, “Gloom and Doom” and “One Last Shot”, were recorded in Paris last month, and serve as the band’s first new material since their 2005 album, A Bigger Bang.
GRRR! will be released in North America on November 13th, available as a three-disc set featuring 50 tracks from throughout the band’s 50-year career, and as a special deluxe box set packing over 80 tracks. The artwork (see above) was designed by Walton Ford.
News of the compilation comes less than a week after the band announced a new documentary and there’s also the rumor of upcoming tour dates.
