The Fraggle Rock Muppets weren’t the only zany characters to perform with Ben Folds Five yesterday. As Rolling Stone reports, the band was joined by The Flaming Lips’ Wayne Coyne and pop star Ke$ha during their show last night at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Together they covered Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s duet, “You’re the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly”. Check out fan footage below.

If you’re wondering about the connection(s), Folds and Coyne reportedly collaborated with Ke$ha on her upcoming sophomore LP. Ke$ha also worked with Coyne for the Lips’ collaborative album, The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends.
