Foo Fighters DNC

As promised, Foo Fighters took the stage tonight at the Democratic National Convention and tore through the songs “My Hero” and “Walk”. And to quote Wolf Blitzer, “Wow!” If you missed it, watch the replay below.

Foo Fighters stayed away from the political fray during the early years of their existence; however, in 2004, the band performed at several rallies for Presidential candidate John Kerry. And earlier this year, they headlined a concert fundraiser for President Obama.

Keepin away from the political point of it. I think the performance fell flat but i guess its hard to rock out to a room full of people that most prob dont even know who you are! Now the performance when grohl did band on the run at the white house that rocked!

They’ve done numerous acoustics shows throughout the year, and i guess this would be an appropriate thing to do at this eent

It’s simply not the place to do it.

Fantastic performance but they never did rock the stage – wonder if that was by suggestion of Obamas staff cause I cant see David Grohl deciding that
