As Dinosaur Jr.’s Facebook page reports, guitarist J Mascis’ signature Squier Jazzmaster guitar was stolen following the band’s concert in Eugene, OR earlier this week.

The guitar has a “dent in the neck, the pickups have no screws as they usually do and the action is currently set high. The guitar was in a soft gig bag.” That’s a picture of it above. Anyone with information is asked to email band@dinosaurjr.com or call 303-998-0001.

In the video below, you can watch Mascis talk about his guitar and the line of Jazzmasters which he released in 2007.

Thats terrible, I saw them in Santa Ana and that guitar was literally 5 feet in front of me. He never used it, it was a backup. Hopefully it is returned.
