Take a listen to Deerhoof’s new track “Sexy, But Sparkly”, stripped off the latest installment of Famous Class Record’s 7″ singles series Less Artists More Condos. The track, the band’s first with an outside producer (Chris Shaw), displays their poppy undertones, with crushing drums, a blown-out electric guitar, and Satomi Matsuzaki’s slightly-fuzzy yelp forging a pure ray of noisy sunshine.

Proceeds from the 7″ benefit the Ariel Panero Memorial Fund at VH1′s Save the Music (snag your copy here). Past contributions to the series include Thee Oh Sees’ “Wait Let’s Go”.
