The Gaslight Anthem’s previously reported cover of Bon Iver hit “Skinny Love” has surfaced online. Similar to the original, the New Jersey rockers manage to dust up an acoustic and make it sound like it’s surrounded by Wisconsin’s fine woods. However, unlike Vernon’s classic strummer, vocalist Brian Fallon adds a little more rust to the vocals and a gritty layer of angst scrapes over the song’s chorus. Stream it below.

The cover will be featured on the band’s Black Friday Record Store Day exclusive Hold You Up EP, which includes originals like the titular track and “Misery”. Fans can pick up a copy on November 23rd.
