There’s now a way to witness one of The Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary shows without having to surrender an arm, leg, kidney, and your life savings. That’s because the band has partnered with — wait for it — World Wrestling Entertainment, which will distribute the December 15th show in Newark, NJ as a live pay-per-view event entitled, “One More Shot”, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
What’s more, TV production conglomerate Endemol “co-manage the international digital rights” alongside the band and are “collaborating on plans that will allow fans unprecedented interaction with the ’50 and Counting’ tour experience,” adds The Hollywood Reporter.
Last night, The Stones prepped for the big shows with a smaller, surprise warm-up show at Champs-Elysées in Paris. Check out the setlist here. The Stones will next perform at London’s O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th and at Newark’s Prudiental Center on December 13th and 15th. These dates mark the band’s first performances together since 2007 and highlight an anniversary campaign that already includes a career-spanning compilation featuring two new songs in addition to a documentary set to premiere on HBO in November.
