On the heels of his latest (and quite fantastic) LP, Kaleidoscope Dream, Miguel shimmied over to The Late Show with David Letterman last night for a sleek and shiny performance of “Adorn”. Black and white filters, tufts of smoke, and a gallery of neon lights paved the way for the smooth R&B enigma, who actually looked like he was singing from within a music video. That might explain why Letterman appeared so dazed and bewildered as he made his way up to the stage shortly after. ”How about that? Yeah! Know what I mean,” he mumbled, before joking whilst coughing: “And remember, check the batteries in your smoke detectors annually.” Silly Dave, the smoke follows Miguel. Replay the magic below.
